The first entrainment occured in Neuhaldensleben on 1 October after empty trains had arrived there from the direction of Magdeburg. 1. The above information indioates that a major exeroiae, which probably ended on 30 September, was conducted in the area of north?rn Letzlinger Heath, Rathenow and Genthin. units of the 3rd Shock Army and 10th Guard Tank Division and 63rd AAA 50X1-H U M Division of the 4th Guards Mechanized Army participated in the exercise.
