le The following troop trains were identified
between 24 and 27 Septembero two shipments each from Wismar to Wudicke,
Schwerin to the Magdeburg district and Schwerin to Jerichow9 one shipment
ez}ch from Hagenow to Jerichora~9 Ludwigslust to Jerichow and Guestrow to
Jerichow; four shipments from Schwerin to Genthin and five shipments from
Hagenow to Genthino On and after 23 September, eight YZIP trains carryring
guns and tanks were dispatched from Greifswalde9 Schwerin, Gloewen and
Wittenberge and attached to the Soviet shipments which proceeded toward
Magdeburgo

and Letzlinger Heath to Neuhaldensleben by trucks of the 3rd Shock Army
and/or the 3rd Guards M?chanized Army, The evacuation of Camp Born was
started on 1 October. The first entrainment occured in Neuhaldensleben
on 1 October after empty trains had arrived there from the direction of
Magdeburg.
1. The above information indioates that a major exeroiae, which probably
ended on 30 September, was conducted in the area of north?rn Letzlinger
Heath, Rathenow and Genthin.
