At midnight on 29 July 1953, 3 converted boxcars and 14 fletcars with sideracks
including RBI type cars, were loaded with troops, equipment and motor vehicles of
an air force construction company at the spur track of Brandenburg Briest airfield.
The cars were attached to freight train , and then dispatched to Falkenberg.
Equipment being loaded included prime movers, three
tank trucks trucks thr
rollers and ploughs. 50X1-HUM
At 6 a.m. on 22 August, the engines of II-10s parked in front of the flight control
station were warmed up. et 5:30 p.m., 18 I140s taxied to the runway, while 35 to
40 I1-10s remained in front of the flight control station. Between 7:40 a.m. and
about 2 o.m., the aircraft\
