At midnight on 29 July 1953, 3 converted boxcars and 14 fletcars with sideracks
including RBI type cars, were loaded with troops, equipment and motor vehicles of
an air force construction company at the spur track of Brandenburg Briest airfield.
The cars were attached to freight train , and then dispatched to Falkenberg.
Equipment being loaded included prime movers, three
tank trucks trucks thr
rollers and ploughs. 50X1-HUM
At 6 a.m. on 22 August, the engines of II-10s parked in front of the flight control
station were warmed up. et 5:30 p.m., 18 I140s taxied to the runway, while 35 to
40 I1-10s remained in front of the flight control station. Between 7:40 a.m. and
about 2 o.m., the aircraft\

a yellow stripe at their tail 50X1 -HUM
units, a yellow propeller hub and a white-edged Soviet star, made individual f1igubu
of about 1 hour duration. Low-level attacks were also practiced and one I1-10 was
seen towing an air sleeve. During the air activity, a radio truck, 2 fire trucks,

seen at the take-off point in Jagen forest-district) On 24 August, 50X1-HUM
there was no change In the occupation of the field, After 7830 a.m. 14 I1-10s
made flights of ablaut one-hourduration? circling. Brandenburg at an altitude of
600 to 700 meters.'
3. On 22 August, a new clearing, 150 meters equere, was observed in Jagen. No 9. The
'
special construction bureau was starting to erect temporary buildings and 50X1-HUM
ammunition sheds. There two officers who had arrived by sedan aave
