effective 25. June 1953; a new plan is noviln preparation. Meanwhile an in-
struction has been issued by the State Administration of Material PrOdureMent
stating that private industry is to be given preference in the allotment of
nonferrous metals. In order to facilitate this directive, the entire State
Reserve has been taken over by DM Metallurgie for distribution. This
Reserve, which was located at Wittenbergstrasse IB, Leipzig, totalled some
1,600 tons consisting mainly of copper, lead, aluminum, and zinc.
