a. Five LSTta (shod at position B on Attachment C).
b. One submarine (shown at position A on Attachment C)a4
c. One tug, the LAO SHAN (0525/1472), used by merchant shipping but painted
grey and believed to be a naval vessel.
d. One vessel, believed to be the former CLOVERLOCK (shown at position C on
Attachment C),5 arrived at Tsingtao
four LST?s and one LSM were at anchor in the Inner
Harbor. Tsingtao. There was a typhoon warning at Tsingtao during this period
and these vessels, as well as merchant ships, had cleared the port.

towing a target, there had been naval gunnery
