From 25 August to 5 September, an estimated 5,000 KVPs were stationed at the Schloss-
park in Friedrichsfelde. Most of the soldiers seen wore red service coler, but
some red-bordered black epaulets were also noticed. Since many trucks occupied
by VP personnel were observed proceeding from or to the sector boundaries in Ber--
lin, the unit was employed for border control missions. The
VP soldiers were armed with submachine guns and rifles. F_ I 25X1

3. The former installation of the Seapolizei on Schneller Strasse Quartered an 25X1 C
estimated 200 XVFs. No training activities were observed.

Observations madel t the Magerviehhof between 1 and 7 September, indicat-
ed that the installation quartered at least 1,000 KVPs who wore green or light :red
service color. About 5:30 p.m., about 150 KVPs, most of them officers$ left the
installation, these officers lived in private billets. Tru3k5
occupied by personnel repeatedly left the installation toward Lichtenberg. The 25X1
unit quartered at the Magerviehhof was armed with rifles. Forty to 50 trucks and
some sedans were seen rked in the yard of the installation,

From 22 August to 2 September,. observed that the Friedrich-Karl Kaserne 25X1
by a KVP unit and VP personnel who wore blue uniforms. On 22, 27 and 30 August,
about 10 field kitchens were observed in the yard of the installation.

each consisting of 1 jeep, 6 to 8 trucks, each occupied by about 20 KVPs, 1 truck

vehicles were seen near the tent camp. At intervals of about two hours trucks
carrying VFs armed with rifles and submachine guns left the Schlasspark. 25X1
