OF PAGES 2. REQUIREMENT NO. RD 50X1-HUM REFERENCES THE SOURCE EVALUATIONS IN THIS REPORT ARE DEFINITIVE. THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE. (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) Amuchoho (approximately N 34-57, E 102-2#). These troops were equipped with pack-howitzers and mortars. They were staging maneuvers with live ammunition and were being trained in riding techniques. They were trans- porting food supplies from Linhsia (N 35-36, E 10303.) to the various villages where they were stationed along the Amuchoho and at Hsit'sanghsinssu (approx- imately N 33-52, E 102-40).1 There was an average of ten truckloads of food supplies transported daily. 600 cavalry, were stationed in various villages'along the banks of the 50X1-HUM there were 500 Chinese Communist infantrymen at Shuangch'a approximately N 3441, E 102-37) with a food.supply estimated at over 100,000 catties There were over 2,000 Chinese Communist infantrymen under the command of 50X1-HUM HSU Kuo-chen (1776/0948/3791)2'stationed about 30 li, southwest of Hsiaho (N W-25, E 102-23).' They were living in recently constructed hnus el approximately 300 Chinese Communist cavalrymen-and 500 Chinese Comunist infantrymen occupied Langmussu (approximately N 34-02, E 102-17).3 Comment, It is rumored that the Communist troops will launch an attack against the guerrilla forces after the Lunar New Year.
