T'he house was 8 meters long; 5 meters wide, nd 5 meters high, with.a Japanese
style tile roof and cement walls. Approximately 50 tall trees were 10 meters
south of-the house, +rhich was the westernmost of a group of three houses , The
Anju-ri.Korean Labor Party consisted of four branch cells; the Anju-ri (FB-088766)
Cell, the Najin-ni (FB-087723)' Cell,, the Hangno (FB-081767), Cell, and the
Kanchin-ni (FB-0877+9) Cell. The four cell chiefs reported periodically to the
Anju-ri Korean Labor Party chief. The Anju-ri Cell chief lived in a house in a
valley at FB-088765. The house was 5 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and 3 meters
high, with a tin roof and mud walls. A playground was immediately east d4 the
cell chief's house. Both cell meetings and staff meetings of the Anju-ri Oe1l
were held at this house, twice each.month.

Headquarters were in three houses at
(CV-9916). The main house was 13 meters long, 6 meters wide, and 3 meters high,

with a .Korean-style
Propaganda Section. A second house, which was used as an office, was-2 meters
north of the main house. This house was 8 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 2.5
meters high, with a tile roof and clay walls. A third house was one, meter
south of the main house. This house was 7 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.5
meters high, with.a thatched roof and clay walls. The west end of the house was
used as a residence for the chief of the committee, and the east end was used
as a residence for the chief of the Propaganda Section. A clay wall,.2 meters
high, enclosed the third house. Meetings were held every 5. days in the building
which housed the Propaganda Section. These meetings. were sponsored by People's
Committees, Party Committees, Cell Committees, the Democratic Youth Association,
the Women's Association, and the Farmers' Union. Between 15 and 70 persons
attended each meeting. The office building was partitioned to house the
People's Committee, and the Korean Labor Party Headquarters.
4.. The Sep'o-ri Korean Labor Party controlled four farmers' cells. The total num-
ber of party members was approximately 90; this included 20 women. CH'OE Ch'i-
il (1508/5268/2480), formerly chief of the Sep'o-ri Korean Labor 50X1-HUM
Party, was vice-chief. In dune 1953, a new chief was appointed.
