Communists in the Republic of Panama have recently been selling bonds and contri- bution slips, in support of the finance campaign of the Mexican Communist publica- tion, La Voz de Mexico: So far as is knoir~n, only five books containing 100 slips each and valued at . 0 a piece were sent to Panama.. Each slip is numbered and is detachable from a stub on which the contributor's name is entered. All slips and stubs are clearly marked La Voz de Mexico, and contributors are aware that this is a Communist publication. 2. The campaign, which is limited to Mexico and Panama, is a reciprocal one, in which Communists in Mexico will campaign to support Panamanian Communist publications by obtaining contributions. I Comment. This campaign is also for the purpose of raising funds for the 25X1 A support of other Communist organs - of propaganda such as La Batalle, in France, and El. Ski lo, in Chile. The directors of this campaign are Maurice Thorez, in France. Manuel TEMZAS, in Mexico, and one Wilfredo or Wilberto SOZ:ATO, whose nationality is unknown.
