Possibly, troop trains. 25X1 25X1 2 _[Cgmn_ent. Gonpared with June, fuel shipments from Boeblen decreased about 65 percent and. from Grosskorbetha about 55 percent and, thus, are far below the 25X1 monthly average of the first half year Qf 1953. 25X1 3. Gopment. Construction material shipments for the air forced 25X1 4. omment. Of the 29 railroad stations, 16 were covered in the preceding month. Comparison showed that major differences were discernible only between the loading stations of the hydrogenation plants. See also OComment 2. 25X1 0nitting the actual and possible troop shipments as well as shipments of con- struction material, the volume of outgoing shipments as comparedith the pre- vious month dropped from 1,726 carloads down to 1,083 carloads, which is a de- crease of about 37 percent in the Haile railroad district. Com os s?e with pertinent 25X1 observations in other railroad dist?ts. The July volume of supply traffic in the Halle district was considerably below the monthly average of about 19700 carloads determined for the first half year of 1953. 25X1 5. IQo sent. There is the possibility that units of the 21st Gds Necz Div which had been employed in the Merseburg area during the June riots returned to their Lossa troop training grounds. Sant. 25X1 r~ ~ confirms the 21st Gds Mecz Div in Hale until 29 July. confirms the unidentified engineer regiment of the GOFG from Bernburg 25X1 until 11 July. confirms the 70th Gds Mecz Regt of the 21st Gds MMecz Div in Halle until 29 July. 25X1 has probably been mistaken for the RTC of. the Eighth Gds Army. observed in Neupetershain is reported from East German for the first time. 25X1 ECR rTj Approved For Release 2003/08/06 : CIA-RDP80-00810A002700620006-8
