A tower being constructed near a demetary southeast of Hidegseg, Hungary at`
34?25' ,. 46038' is reportedly being built for use as a radio jamming station.
2. Obstacles along the Austro-Hungarian border in the area approximately 13 km.
southeast of Sopron (31.?23.' 47"301), include an automatic colored flare detonator.,
About 20 m. into Hungary on a parallel with the border, wires are 015read horizon-
tally from one to three feet above the ground and about one foot apart. When the
wire nearest to the border is tripped, a red flare is set off indicating to AVH
guards that an attempt is being made to cross the border Into Hungary. A green
flare is set off when contact is made with the wire farthest inside Hungarian
territory signaling an attempt to cross the border out of Hungary. AVH wards
often dismiss the signals as having been set off by animals in the area.
