1. At about noon on 2 October 1953, about 15 BA-64 armored scout cars, about
10 six-wheel armored personnel carriers, about 40 trucks
and about 300 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets were unioaaea at the
Fuerstenberg railroad station.- The trucks subsequently drove toward Ravens-
brueck, while the armored vehicles departed toward Steinfoerde01

2. On 2 October, the restricted area at the southern shdre of Roeblin Lake
appeared to 'have been occupied to capacity by a headquarters whose personnel
'wore red-bordered black epaulets. Motor vehiel

3. On 25 September, the barracks installation at Droegen was occupied to crpa-
city by about 1,500 troops who wore red-bordered black epaulets with motor
transport insignia. It about 4 p.m. on 24 September, about 80 soldiers with
rifles and 3 heavy machine guns marched into the installation.3
4. On 25 September, the barracks installation at Castaven Lake was occupied.
Between 5 and 6 p.m., on 24 September, 7 armored personnel carriers and 1 BA-64
armored scout car moved into the installation. A truck towing a 120-mm mortar
and carrying 10 soldiers drove into the installation on 25 September. At about
2*p.m., 3 armored personnel carriers /saved out of the installation toward
Lychen. Motor vehicle was identified.4

Ravensbrueck on 24 September. At about 7 p.m? the sedan occupied by the
general was seen en route toward Neustrelitz.

Necz Army. It is possible that headquarters units of the army and/or
the 33d Gds Ntz Rifle Fegt of the 9th Gds Tank Div, alich participated
in exercises of the division in the Nirow-Ptheinsberg-Neuruppin area 50X1-HUM
from 27 to 30 September and which, wilt
from Altruppin to Fuerstenberg on train
