1. The construction of almilitary road from Elblag (Elbing) to Szczecin (Stettin)
was begun about the bespning of May 1953. The construction was started at the
Elblag end. TheroadJe to be a ceMent one with blocks similar to those used,
on the German'AUtOba* The work is being done by Polish military personnel
under Soviet militarverupervision.
2. The Elblag?Szczecin_road is to cross with another road, which is being planned,
at Heyking,' near:Gdanek.(Danzig). At this point there is a factory for windlasses
and other electrical equipment. There are also some warehouses. BY order of the ?
Ministry of NettO4S1 PefenSe the factory and other buildings will have to be razed
.before the end 04 1954 so that the crossroads can be effected at this point.

3. Diesel engines and parts which are to be shipped for the Polish Merchant
Marine were to be stored in the abovementidmed sheds). but orders have been received
that this is not to take place. The road from Elblag to Szczecin is to be completed
by the end of 1954 or early 1955. Nothing more is known about the road which is to
cross the Elblag-Szczecin road on the factory site except that it is to be similar
in construction and a bridge is to be built across the canal. (See attached sketch).
