The following military units and installations are located in Rzeszow:
a. An artillery regiment is stationed in the pre-war barracks at Pobitna.
b. Antiaircraft artillery sites are located at Baranowkas on the outskirts of
Rzeszow.
c. An arpy unit wearing green uniforms is quartered in.barracks located near
Czwartakow park.
d. A special KBW (Corps of Internal Security) unit with about 50 or 60 police
dogs (Siberian wolf-dogs) is stationed in three 3-story barracks.1 A KBW
training center is located at Monies near Rzeszows in the direction of
Slocina and Tyczyn villages. Six or seven companies were observed taking
part in exercises.
