1. From May 1951 until the beginning of 1953, Trudovak units constructed various
defensive works, consisting of trenches, batteries, machine gun nests and
observation towers, along the coast from Balchik to the mouth of the h'
River, 20 kilometers south of Varna
2. On the coast south of Balchik, four heavy coast artillery guns have been
mounted, and two more at Momchil. The make and caliber of these guns are unknown.

3. In the area of Petralik (N 41-29, E 23-52), north of the Bulanik River, a
row of ordinary trenches an(' light machine gun nests have been constructed
along the highway leading from upper Nevrokop to Drama in the direction of
the Greek border.
4, These trenches are approximately three or four kilometers from the Greek
border.
