Practice Mobilization at Turnovo
1. In late August 1953, a practice mobilization was held at Turnovo.
2. All classes, up to 45 years of age, were mobilized. The men were assigned to
units, clothed and equipped. Material was distributed to the various units.
3. No information is known concerning the termination of the exercises.
Barracks at BovohinovtAi
4. Barracks have been completed at Boychinovtsi-(N 43-29, E 23-19), 12 kilometers
northeast of Mikhaylovgrad, and is now occupied by a unit of the Interior troops.
5. The 2-story barracks, apparently intended for one company, are located at the
south entrance to Boyohinovtsi, at the intersection of the second class No. 42
Vratsa-Boychinovtsi road and the railroad track.
