The group of barracks, situated 300 to 350 meters north of the Soviet airfield at Legnica (Liegnitz) is divided in two by a wooden fence. One side is occupied by Soviet airmen, and the other side by the KBW (Internal Security Corps) Officer Cadet School.. 2. There are about five or six companies in the school3, These companies were seen at one time when they marched in close formation to a cinema in the town. 3. The uniforms of the cadets were as follows: The round caps were green with an eagle on them. Capbandswere pale blue. Tunics, also of khaki color, had four pockets, two on the sides and two breast pockets. The collar was buttoned at the neck; during: summer it was worn unbuttoned. (without a tie). The shoulder-straps were of khaki color, bordered with white-blue cord, and had two brass letters: "S" and "O". The trousers were dark navy-blue with pale-blue stripes down the side, about 4 ems. wide. The cadets wore black laced shoes. 25X1 12 companies were stationed at the school. barracks were located at the further end of ul. Swierczewskiego.
