1. A Czechoslovak Army hostel, with underground shelters, is under construction
in Prague-Dejvioe, near the terminus of the No. 7 streetcar line. Tt will
be eight or nine stories high and will serve as a hostel for members of the
armed forces. The spacious underground shelters beneath the building are said
to be intended to serve as the Czechoslovak Army Headquarters in case of war.
Several apartment houses for regular Army officers and warrant officers are
under construction in the vicinity of this building:. The construction work
is being carried out by Konetruktiva.
2. The Masaryk College students' hostel in Prague-Dejvioe was requisitioned for
the Police in about the winter of 1951-52. Now, underground shelters are
being built beneath it and Army offices are being moved in. The Folios are
moving out and taking over the Archepiecopal Seminary in Dejvioe.
:3. A military installation of unknown purpose is under construction on the
northwest outskirts of Prague, at the southern edge of a wood, about 1,500
meters northwest of Nebusice. Access to the wood at this point is prohibited.
