but not tanks.
?r There are about 1,500 soLtherz in the barracks. Most of them wear
brown uniforms and red hatbands, but c small number wear grey uni-
-orms and black hatbands. he latter have either tank-shaped
i.asagnia on the lapels or a winged-wheel insignia on the shosider

were first seen at the I May festivities in 1952. They undergo

met in large numbers on zze streets and in public places of sgowo
zn the evenings every day, The caserne seems zo be packed to
capacity.
