1. The civilian hospital at Yambol (N 42-28, E 26-31) is located about one kilometer
from the center of the city, in the southeastern outskirts of the city. It con-
sists of five or six buildings of various dimensions and has a total of 250 beds.
2. The hospital director is Dr. aramotikov, a Bul ian, who is a specialist in
internal diseases. All the doctors of Yambol approximately 30) work at the hospi-
tal in shifts. The hospital staff consists of about 200 persons, both male and
female, including clerks, nurses, cleaning staff, etc.
3? Medical departments are as follows:
a. Surgery;
b. Internal medicine; and
c. Pediatrics.
4. The hospital has sufficient medicines and medical materials. Special medicines,
including antibiotics, are not in short supply.
