On 15 September 1953 the North Korean Army Front-line Headquarters was in Changch'idong-ni (N 38-42, E 127-56) (DT-0783). The North Korean Army III Corps headquarters was at DT-191467 in Sulgu-long (N 38-33, E 128-04) (DT-1966), and the command post of the 45 Division was at DT-151667. The 90 Regiment was at DT-137573, the 2 Battalion at DT-131572, the 4 Company at DT-146587, the 5 Company at DT-143592, the 6 Company at DT-143586, an armored company at DT-146591+., and an 82-mm. mortar company at DT-149595- 2. On 15 September 1953 the following officers were attached to the 45 Division a, CHI Pyong-hak,- Major General, aged 40, and trained in the Soviet Union, was commanding the 45 Division. b. CH?OE Chu-won, Senior Colonel, aged 30, and trained in Communist China, was commanding the 90 Regiment. e. MUN Chang-nazi, Junior Colonel, aged 30, was the political deputy of the regiment. d. CHANG Muni-sik, Captain, aged 29, and trained in Communist China, was commanding the 2 Battalion. e. Yl Song-sil, Senior Lieutenant, aged 30, was chairman of the Korean Labor Party in the battalion. f. CHU Han-chin, 1st Lieutenant, aged 25, was commanding the 4 Company. g. U Ki-nam, Senior Lieutenant, was commanding the 5 Company. h. KANG Hi-su., Senior Lieutenant, aged 30, was commanding the 6 Company. J. KIM Son-ho, 1st Lieutenant, aged 26, was the political deputy of the 6 Company. k. KIM Sang-mok, lst Lieutenant, aged 25, and a graduate of the Kangkon Military Academy, was commanding the 82-mm. mortar company. 1. CH'AE Pong.t'aek, Senior Lieutenant, aged 29, and former chairman of the Democratic Youth Alliance in the North Korean 61 Hospital, was the political deputy of the armored company. On 15 September 1953 the following persons were attached to the North Korean Army Headquarters: a. CH'OE Yong-kon (1508/1661/691-3), Junior. Marshal, was the deputy commander of the Supreme Commando b. KIM Kwang-hyop, General, aged about 40, and former commanding officer in the front-lines, was on the General Staff of the Supreme Command. c. YU Chong-su,2 Lieutenant General, aged about 50, and former commander of the III Corps, was commanding the Military Jurisdiction Area in the Front- line Command. d. KIM Ch'ol-u, Major General, aged 50, and a former member of the Military Committee of the III Corps, was a member of the Military Committee in the Military Jurisdiction Area of the Front-line Command. I Comments 2. Possibly YU Kyong-su was intended.
