RD 25X1 14 January 1951+ 2 In June 1953 the North Hamgyong Province Coal Mine Administration Bureau was in In'gok-tong (N 41-48, E 129-48) (EB-661273), Ch'ongjin, in a building facing west, which was 15 meters long, 5 meters wide, and 2.5 meters high, with a tin roof and mud walls. Immediately to the rear of the building were two tunnels 4 meters apart which housed the offices of the Bureau chief and of other staff members. About 50 meters west of the building was a north-south truck road 6 meters wide; about 30 meters east.of the building was a pathway running north and south. 2. The Bureau had about 25 employees, about half of whom were women. The chief of the General Affairs Section was HAN In-hui (7281 0088/3556), aged about 409 a native of Pukch'on.g (N 4o-15, E 128-19) (DV.4255/), and a -labor r.ty?member. HAN had had about 20 years' experience in coal mining and was regarded as the outstanding authority on coal mining in North Hamgyong Province. 3, Coal mines in the following vicinities were under the jurisdiction of the Bureau: Aoji.
