1, Boernerowo near Warsaw, where there is a large military airfield, has been renamed
Bemowo,
2. In the summer of 1953 a number of villas were built in an aspen wood located on
the southwest edge of the airfield. These villas are occupied by senior Soviet
Air Force officers and their families.
3. The prewar trolley line from Warsaw to Boernerowo was rebuilt in the summer of
1953 and is now working. This line runs along Staszica, Mlynarska and Obozowa
streets and through the settlements of Gorce and Bemowo, which is the terminus.
