1, At about 4'p.m. on 2 August 1953, a military transport train as. described below
was observed at the Lysa nad Labem (0 51/G 00) stations
b. Twelve four-axled flatcars loaded with AFVes which were covered with tarpaulins.
The length of the AFV's was between four and four-and-one-half meters and their
height was two-and-one-half meters. No details could be observed, except that
on the side of each AFV there appeared to be a large container with a cylindrical
shape.
One four-axle flatcar with a large AFV five-and-one-half meters long and two-and-
one-half meters high, covered with a tarpaulin. The barrel of the gun protruded
from the cover and was approximately three meters long, with a smooth surface, a
diameter of about 30 cm. at both ends, and no muzzle brake. The turret was very
low.
d. One four-axle flatcar with one AFV, probably a Stalin tank. It was also covered
by a tarpaulin, but part of the gun, hull and tracks could be observed. The
track was 30 cm. wide and the clearance of the hull was 50 cm. The length of the
vehicle wai over five meters and its height was about two-and-one-half meters.
The gun barrel was about three meters long and it had a pear-shaped muzzle brake
with a cover over it.

e. One second class coach carrying officers and two third class coaches carrying
enlisted men, The latter were of an average age of 21 to 23 years and were
dressed in khaki uniforms with black tabs. Their number could not be estimated.
f. Five four-axle flatcars with small tracked vehicles similar to carriers (sic).

g. Nine small flatcars loaded with nine 3'-ton Praga trucks camouflaged with
branches and nets.
2. The: train iaae guarded at the station by two sentries armed with sub-machine
guns. It left the Ii*sa nad Labem station at about 4:15 p.m., going in the
direction of Pardubice.
3. At about 5"p.m. on 4 August, two flatcars loaded with two T-34 tanks were
observed on a railroad siding at the Prague-Liben station.' They were identified
as T-34's by the five large Christie-type bogie wheels and guns without muzzle
brakes. Both of these-AFVrs looked.new and were painted a light khaki color...
