The course of the new ig.wqy Lake Balaton Nagykanizsa is as follows: Balaton-
keresztur, S&voly, Komrvaros, Galambok and from Galambok via route 7 to Nagy-
kenizsa. The new highway does not pass through the localities mentioned but
skirts them. The new route rests on a foundation of rocks 45 can. thick; above
there is a bed of gravel 30 cm. thick. The road is surfaced with concrete and
is 12 me wide.
In consideration of the military constructions in the area, the Bud! 'A.keszi-Budaors
road is being reconstructed. The foundation is being laid anew and the road is
being surfaced with the best quality asphalt. Width of the road is 8 in.
3a The Budaors-Torbagy section of route 802 is being resurfaced with concrete.

The Sajoszentpeter-Borsod stretch of route 231 is being widened from 7-8 me and
is b?ing resurfaced with the best quality macadam. The resurfacing of the Borsod-
Hidvegardo stretch is to begin in the spring of 19540
5. Route 74 (Veszprlm-Tapolca)-was to have been resurfaced with concrete by the begin-
ning of December'1953e Width: 8 ma
Route 72 (Veszprem-Balatonfred) is being completely reconstructed. Width: 8 me
Surface: concrete. The road does not pass through 0sopak anymore but a new
section has been cut through woods towards Balatonfured.
