1. On 2 .anuary 1954, the Jaeger Kaserne, Luebben, was occupied as previously by
about 700 to 800 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets with task insignia.
Souse did not observe any training activity. Six T-34/85 tanks, 4 radio trucks
and 5 armored scout cars were
asked in the yard as prevloi.+.sly. Motor vehicles 25X1 C
were seen en route to and from the installation.
Css 2 January, the hospital wc.s occupied by not more. than 2CC to 25C troops. The
iatallation appeared unusually quiet. Source did not observe any vehicular 4-ra-f-.
