1. Between noon and 2 p.,n? on 17 October 1953, there was no air activity
at Leers airfield. As far as source was able to observe the dispersal areas,
30 YiG-15s or U4aii -15e were parkod at the field. 1
2. On 29 October, on the o dcasio n of the anniversary - of the foundation of the
cornsono (Cornunist Youth) :organization, a celebration was held at the
clubhouse '`of Rechlin restricted area. The celebration was attended by 4
colonels, 7 lieutenant colonels, offers of lower ranks, and about 900
W. who wore black-bordered blue epaulets. Thiarty-six FDJ and SED members
had been invited o A bulletin board on the ground floor of the hail bore
