In late november 1953, construction material and equip,aent were being loaded on railroad cars at Oranienburg airfield. A Soviet truck and two caterpillar tractors without markings left the field. In early December, the fuel dump at the field was ready for acceptance. Source learned from an interpreter that conferences had been held on the construction of an administrative building at the field at the end of November. 2. Oranienbu_rg airfield was unoccupied up to 15 December. Work on the fuel dump was completed by late November. The fuel containers covered with sod were located in rows of five between the concrete foundations. Source observed a dark flap, about 1 x 1.5 meters, on the containers at the end of each row. These flaps were open at the end of November. On 5 Decexnbc:r, Soviet soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets unloaded coal. fromi eight railroad cars on the edge of the woods. On 7 December, 12 cars with, coal and l car with steel girders were observed at the same place. The coal was being transferred onto truck I land hauled.in the 25X1 B direction of the Weisse Stadt Set tleme . 3. In early December, cables were being laid in the cable ditches and the ditches were again filled at the Field., 4. The fuel dump at the field was being surrounded by a wire fence about 1.8 maters high.. On 27 November, 1 boxcar with personnel and 4-closed boxcars, each loaded with 9 tons, left the airfield and proceeded toward Dresden-Klotzsche.
