The Administrative and Resistance Committee of the District which includes the chief town of Sadec province is as follows: a. President Sau Kha be Vice president: Troung Van Gam c. Military commissioner: Viet Chau Commissioner for Lien Viet affairs; Vinh e., Official commissioners: Le Van Chinh, Thoi Tu f. Security service commissioner: Kim Cuong 2. The district is divided into four regions, each in charge of a cadreman who is directly responsible to the commander-in-chief of district troops. a. Region A. consisting of the villages of Tan Thuan Dong (N 10-26, E 105-36), Hoa Tan, and An Nhon. Vo Quang Minh is the cadreman in charge. b. Region B, consisting of the villages of An Phu Thuan, Phu Hu.u, An Khanh and My Thuan (N 10-03, E 105-48). Diep is the cadreman in charge. c, Region C, consisting of the villages of Tan Quoi (N 10-LO, E 1O5-21), Thanh Loi (N 10-OII3 E 105-I6), Tan Phu Trung (N 10-15, E 105-1w) and Tan Xuan (N 10-16, E 105-46). Minh is the cadreman in charge. d. Region D, consisting of the villages of Tan Luoc (N 10-08, E 105-Li), Phong Hoa (N 10-09,. E 105-iL8), Vinh Thoi (N 10-10, E 105-1L8), and Long Thang. Commander in chief of the district troops is Nguyen Long Dien, aka Dang Van Dien, aka La Xuan Dien. Dien is also in command of the regional battalion. b. Deputy commander in chief is Vo Minh Quang. c. Chief of District Troops is Viet Chau.l d. The Command Committee has five carbines, two grenade launders2 and a. number of mines for issue in case of need. There are four sections of troops in the district, cTh# sire 'ad follows: a. Section A. The command committee is made up of Tam as chief, and Phan Ngoc Diep as deputy chief. This section is equipped with the following arms, 2 MAS Submachine guns,3 1 American carbine, 14 English weapons (sic), 2 grenade launders, 2 Thompson submachine guns, and Lt submachine guns. Section A has the regional responsibility of area C. b. Section B. The command committee is made up of Nguyen Van.Thuyet as the chief, and Duc as the deputy. This section is armed with the following weapons, 1 British automatic rifle, 15 MAS rifles, 1 American carbine, 2 grenade launchers, and 2 submachine guns. Section B is responsible for region A. c. Section 0. The command committee is made up of Hoang Thien Hung as the chief, with two deputies, Hong Tu Thau and Bay. This-section is armed with the following weapons, 1 British automatic rifle, 1 American carbine, 1 submachine gun, 15 British rifles, and 2 grenade launchers. Section C is responsible for region B. d. Section D. The command committee is made up of Tran-Van Gian, as the chief and the section is armed with the following weapons, 1 French automatic rifle, 1 American carbine, 14 British and American automatic weapons, 2 submachine guns, and 2 grenade launchers. Section D is responsible for region D.. 25X1 ]Comments 1. Presumably the same as Viet Chau mentioned in paragraph 1. C. 2. The French word was tromblon, which is translated VmmeAe sleeve, fitted to a rifle. Presumed. to be grenade launcher. 3. Abbreviated in the French, it could mean either Automatic rifle, or submachine gun.
