the barracks iristallation on Stalingrad Strasse in
Tangermuende was occupied by troops with red-bordered black epaulets.
Shouting of orders was heard from the barracks yard. About 30 EM re-
paftd the roof of the vehicle shed. Ambulance entered the
installation, and truck loaded with laundry stood in front
of the quarters, Traffic between the officers' bidets and the in-
stallation included about 15 officers with artillery insignia, some
women soldiers,. and some women in civilian clothes,
