On 4 December, the Zaschendorf Kaserne in Meissen was occupied almost to capacity
by about 800 men wearing red-bordered black epaulets including some with artillery
and tank insignia. Twenty large vehicles completely covered with canvas were stored
the shed roofs in the nortberra, section of the instal. t.ion. About 60 men
On 13 November,, about 70 soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets and carrying

to have been 2,000 soldiers.
