Individual soldiers, who presumably were detached for a driving school course held there, wore black-bordered c i r mson epaulets. At about rocket launchers were being emplaced and changed position en terrain between-Saalfeld and Schwarza. At about 6 a.m.-on 30 December, all windows of the quartering building were lighted. At about 10 a.m., 5 groups, each of about 25 soldiers,drilled in the barrarl a?ya.rd. Between 9 a.ni and noon on 9 January, about 40 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets and armed with 3 light. machine guns, submachine guns and carbines engaged in record firing at aiming silhouettes in the tai ning area in the vicinit of the installation.
