Persons arriving in Nanking from the.USSR or the satellite countries who were interested in schools. usually inspected the. First Municipal Middle School. There were two classes with Soviet instructors for Overseas Chinese studying the Russian language at the school. 2. In addition to their classes, students at the school were required to attend a their daily current events discussion directed by New China News Agency.-e writings s of f MAO Tse-tung 3. All students attending the school were members of the New Democratic Youth Corps. Other organizations in the school were the Sino-Soviet Friendship Association and the Students' Association.
