Observations at Ruegen Island.included~
a. Glows Project
No work of any kind was going on. There are no workers, prisoners,
or dredgers in the area.
The canal runs in a gentle bow shape, mean direction 2000 - O20o,
with the open part of the bow facing east. Its length is about half dug
to a depth of 25-30 ft. The ends are still dammed: off, and a dam
stretches across the Spycker .See from Wed:d,esort. The Spycker See itself
is now only a msxsh.
A W,/T station was established in a newly-built white house to the
east of the ca~i,~'1 and about halfway between the coast''~,nd the G~owe~
Ruschvitz road.
A light railway was built running through Wed.d.eort, from about halfway.
along the canal to the Spycker See due south of Wed.deort.
There are no indications of any U-boat bunkers in the Spycker See.

Fischkombinat. Thy large building at the northern erld. of the harbor
is the ice factory where there were three loggers and cutters?of 18 and.
