1, Housing projects for workers are being erected in the following locations in the
Budapest areas
a. Foundations have been laid for 1,000 housing units at Nagy Lajos Kirily utja
District %N.
The main walls are 38 cm.d, thick and are built of small bricks 25 x 12 x 6 cm.
The plaster is made of lime,, and in several, places an,improved kind of plaster
is used consisting of a 'mixture of cement and lime, Whenever the building is
supported by pillars of reinforced concrete,, the main walls are 25 cm. thick and
are built of hollow bricks 25 x 12 x 12 cm. Partition walls are made of boards
6 to 10 cm. thick. Ceilings are of reinforced concrete girders, prepared before-
hand, and either boards or hollow bricks* The stairs are made of concrete at the
construction sites. The beams above the doors,, windows and other openings are
made of reinforced concrete.. The roofs are built of reinforced concrete and
covered with either tile or slate. There are deal floors in the rooms and artifi?

and gas.
