REFERENCES
1. A shipir ent I bsent from Netzeband to Oranienburg on 11 Marsh;
another shipment, was dispatched from Gransee to Dernau on 12
March.
2. Four troop trains, one passing through Grieben, one through Herzberg east of
Altruppin and two through Neuruppin, proceeded toward Loewenberg on 11 March.
On the same day, a column includinf 25 rocket chhlers and 20 trucks passed
through Altruppin toward the east,
3. On 11 March, Shilrient
went from Magdeburg to Reinsberg.2
4. A signal unit of the Third Shock Army was observed loading in Magdeburg.2
5. Shiimient, were sent from Rostock to Binz on Ruegen Island
between ? February and 1 March.
6. On 11 March, four shipments, were dispatched 25X1
from Jueterbog to Wittenberg.4
Comment: These movements appear to indicate that the exercises of the
25t Tank Division and of elements of the 6th Guards Mechanized Division, which
had started in the area south-east of the Mueritz lake on 6 March, were completed
on 10 March in the area north of Neuruppin. See 25X1
2. Comment: The information in Paragraphs 3 and 4 may indicate that units
of the ?h Rifle Corps were scheduled to have exercised at the Wittstock troop
training grounds after 12 Marche Prior to this date, units of the 79th Rifle
Division probably held exercises in Letzling Heath? See
