1. Bao Dai gave audiences to a number of Vietnamese nationalists while he was
in Hanoi on 2 March but there were no results. Thhiec>e audiences were merely
stage setting and had nothing to do with the purpose of his trip.
2. Bao Dai. denied the rumor that a military dictatorship in Vietnam was to be
for-ae4;.1 Bao Dai did let it, be known that, he considered it necessary to do
something and to come to grips with the situation.2
3. Buu Loc has been recalled to Vietnam for the purpose of doing something about
the present situation, but the nature of Bao Dai's plans are not known.
