.On 27 and 28 November 1953, about 150 Chinese Communist officers and enlisted
men arrived in Qngjin (N 37-56, E 125-22) (YC-0801), to be subsequently dis-
patched as advisors to various North Korean army units in the area. It was
rumored that a total of 2,000 Chinese Communist military advisors had been
assigned to 56rth Korean army units.
