SOURFE:
1. The transformer station near Vyskov, in the Zatec District, is located 1-1
kilometers southeast of Vyskov, one kilometer north of Vrbka, five kilo.
meters northeast of Bitozeves, four kilometers northeast of Poatoloprty
and about 18 kilometers northeast of Zatec.
2. The transformer station covers an area about 400 meters square. It is
heavily fenced; the fence is about two meters high. No perimeter guards were
used at the time of observation. There were military guards:and-a diiiliAn
guard - a woman..- at the main gate. One military guard was on duty at the
gate and three others were held in reserve in a building located to the left
of the gate.
3. At night the transformer station was illuminated by four sets of flood..
lights, which were installed on posts. Military guards were also stationed
in three wooden guard towers about eight meters high; the guards manned these
towers day and night, fully armed. Allegedly, fourteen more guard towers
were being erected.
4. The transformer station employed about 25 people, some of them being women.
Zajda (fnu) was in charge of the plant. Until 1951, Oldrich Dufek had been
the manager, but he allegedly was removed because he was not a Comsuniat.

5. Power supplied to the Vyskov transformer station came in two power lines?
each having three'wires one inch in diameter (sic), each carrying 100,000
volts (between two wires). The two power lines come from the Most-Sokolov
Power Works, at Ervenice, and the thermal power plant at Komorany.

6, Power is transmitted toward Prague from the Vyskov transformer plant through
tp power lines, each having three wires one inch in diameter and each carrying
206,000 volt-s. Power is transmitted via the same lines to Louny, Zatec,
Most, Karlovy Vary, Sokolov and possibly to other locations. Power comes
into the plant from the north and is transmitted from the south side of the
transformers and distribution buildings,

an unidentified Swiss company was stringing
high frequency telephone lines to connect the Vyskov transformer station
with its associated distributing and transformer stations. The telephone
lines were being mounted on high voltage towers,
