There have.;,been large-scale desertions of.'Laotian troops from Southern Laos
into.Cambodia... On approximately 26 March, remnants were seen fleeing and lootirp
south through, Bo Kheo.

Have been some desertions. The Viet Minn invasion of Cambodia is in the same
:general area where the Viet Minh forces are attacking in a force of one or two
battalions I.'tis believed that the Viet Minh, in this maneuver, is trying to
out the French route into Laos, although it is possible that it is trying to
gain land prior to the Geneva Conference so that it can bargain for Cambodian
territory.
