RD REFERENCES THE SOURCE EVALUATIONS IN THIS REPORT ARE DEFINITIVE. THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE, (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) port of Novorossiysk observations of the Oil Pier: a. The pier was approximately 1,200 feet in. length.. b, The depth immediately alongside the pier was 28 feet. c. There were five pipes on each side of the'pier: three 12-inch pipes, one nine-inch pipe, and one six-inch pipe. The pipes ran underground from the storage area to the shore end of the pier. d. The rate of loading of fuel oil was 380?100 tons per hour at 45-60 lbs0 pressure. The loading of 13,130 tons was accomplished in 40 hours,.
