An antiaircraft unit is stationed in -barracks on Point Galata, which was declared a military zone in late 1951 or early 1952. 25X1 4, A Trudovak unit Is located in barracks to the west of the 25X1 prison and direr y adjacent to it. The prison is situated in the western outskirts of the town. In early 1953, this Trudovcak unit was provided with personal weapons for which each Trudovak was individually responsible. 5. There is a Marine unit in barracks south of the canal, joining Lake .Ueda with the sea, They wear naval uniforms with red piping on the shoulder boards. 6. Work on widening the canal began in late 1952 or early 1953, and it is rumored that it is intended eventually to berth naval vessels in the lake. 7.
