In the course of February 1954, the rank insignia of noncommissioned
officers of the National Security Corps (SNB) were changed. The
small white stars, the number of which indicated the rank, were replaced
by woolen stripes of vivid yellow, which are arranged, in the same
fashion as for noncommissioned officers of the armed forces.
