REMARKS
1. Between 11 and 20 February 1954 almost no r-.:ctivities were observed in
Buildings No 5 and 10 at the KVP installation near Strausberg. It was
runored that the units stationed there Chad left the B,:-rlin area during
the Four-Power Conference, Motor vehicle traffic was Licht.
2. On 15 Febrtuary, work was started on the construction of a new building,
probably a dwelling house. Thirty workers of Eauunion Spree working at
the installation were transferred to Bauuia=.on Sued at the Strausberg
airfield.
3. On 22 February 1954, construction work at the KVP installation south of
Strausberg was accelerated. Excavation work was being done for Buildings
No 24 and 25. Buildings No 5, 6, 7, 8, were nearing completion. On 27
February, about 600 construction workers were employed at the installation.
4. On 23 and 24 February, Building Nos 3, 4, and 9 were vacated by the KVF
except for a rear detail of 30 to 40 men. who were assigned euard missions
at the installation and the airfield.

to installation southwest of S?trausberg :railroad station.

is February the barracks installation in Biesdorf were partly occupied by

that the ItV Guards Regiment moved to Str ausberg during the Four-Power Conference.
Elements of this regiment probably moved the Strausberg area as oar ly as November
1953 and will probably remain there as guards details for the KVP construction
