1. The town of Cesis (N 57-19, E 25-16), 80 kilometers east-northeast of
Riga,, is supplied with electricity from the Kegums (N 56-04, E 24-43)
hydroelectric generating station through a trans.former-station at
Ieriki (N 57-12, E 25-10), twelve -kilometers south of Cesis.
2. A generating station is also in operation on the Amata River in the
Karlu village area, ten kilometers south of Cesis,
