2, From noon to 5 p,,m. on 1 March, a train with ammunition boxes measuring about 90 x 50
x 40 cm was unloaded at Saalfeld railroad station. Trucks hauled the boxes to the
ammunition cbpot near Schwarza,~
3. At about 10 aemo on 3 March., the following vehicles and materiel left the Prinz
Louis Ferdinand Kaserne and moved to the Saalfeld railroad station, wh>re they were
loaded prior to 1200 p.m.: 12 M-13 rocket launchers, 16 trucks with ammunition
boxes, 14 trucks, each with 15 to 20 soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets, 1
sedan with a lieutenant colonel (Arty), 1 ambulance, 1 tank truck and 1 field kitchen.
