1. From 25 to 27 October 19539 seven or eight :,p.mall naval vessels were observed
in the Baltic Sea, within an. area bounded by lines through the following
points- N 57-05, E 20-05; N 57-25, E 20-05; N 57-25; E 20-15; N 57-05,
E 20-15. The vessels, which were probably minesweepers, remainet in the area
for 48 hours, but their activity could not be determined.
2. On 6.November 1953, the following vessels were obperved at Ventspils-
a. Two supply ships,
b. Submarines
c. Submarine chasers
also three other submarine chasers of the same type
d. Minesweepers
e. Approximately twenty small naval vessels and boats.
