la In such voivodships as Szczecin (Stettin) arid. Olsztyn .(Allenstein),
where large military installations are located, the "landed estates;'
(standesgueter).are under military.-administration, In the voivodship
of Szczecin, the Soviets have transferr@d or are in the process of
transferring such estates to the Polish.military authorities, so that
in the future, no such estates it the voivodship will: be under' Soviet
administration. The number of such estates in Soviet hands, however,
has increased proportionately in the province of Olsztyn.
2. The Polish Army also controls a large share of such landed estates in
the voivodship of Olsztyn. In this regard, the voivodship is divided
into the following Polish-Soviet zones (approximately):
a. The Soviet troops control the northwestern part of the voivodship
between the Pasleka (Passer e) River and the'Lyna (Alle)River,;
starting from Dobre Miasto (Guttstadt).in the south.
here are 12 Polish regiments stationedin Olsztyn vo vods
(Braunsberg), which is probably an armored regiment.
b. The Polish troops have their estates in the northern and south-
eastern parts of this voivodship, especially the area along the
Soviet border and around the large, numerous lakes.
The Polish state sovkhozes are also located in Olsztyn voivodship, but
not along the border. There are no Polish troops in-the Soviet section
of this voivodship with the exception of one regiment raniewo
