allegedly located in Sliveno This Army is allegedly composed as follows:
a 3 Infantry Division, in Burgas;
bo 5 Infantry Division in Yambol;

o
(n
w Polyanovgrad); and

IBommento The location of the General Headquarters of 3 Army in Sliven
and of the location of the General Headquarters of the divisions subordinate
to this Army, in Burgas, Yambol, and Shumen (or Sliven, or Karnobat) corre-
spond with present holdings. The numbers assigned to the Divisions in the
above report are rather surprising. However., they are not impossible assuming
that the numbers assigned to the divisions may have been changed. a4ith regard
to a 16 Mountain Brigade in Zvezdets9 it should be noted that, according to a
:recent retort of Yugoslav origin., the Bulgarian military authorities allegedly
approved the constit,tion of a mountain brigade by the Army.
