(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) The General Headquarters and the units attached to the Bulgarian 3 Army are allegedly located in Sliveno This Army is allegedly composed as follows: a 3 Infantry Division, in Burgas; bo 5 Infantry Division in Yambol; 18 Infantry Division in Shumen (now Kolarovgrad), Sliven, or Karnobat o (n w Polyanovgrad); and 16 Mountain Brigade, in Zvezdets (N 42".07, E 27-2L) IBommento The location of the General Headquarters of 3 Army in Sliven and of the location of the General Headquarters of the divisions subordinate to this Army, in Burgas, Yambol, and Shumen (or Sliven, or Karnobat) corre- spond with present holdings. The numbers assigned to the Divisions in the above report are rather surprising. However., they are not impossible assuming that the numbers assigned to the divisions may have been changed. a4ith regard to a 16 Mountain Brigade in Zvezdets9 it should be noted that, according to a :recent retort of Yugoslav origin., the Bulgarian military authorities allegedly approved the constit,tion of a mountain brigade by the Army. Comment: Latest available information holds that 3 Arm h t^ y as s headquarters in Sliven and is composed of the 3 "Chernomorskalt Rifle Division, in Burgas; the 5 ttDunavskalt Rifle Division, in Provadiya or Varna.
