Between 10:40 a.ra. and noon on 17 Fm ruary 1954, when the weather as s tinny,

3. Throughout the day on 24 Februarye, formation flying vm s practiced by 1AG-15 or
1i-44iG-15s. The intervals between the individual aircraft of the.formations were
very close. A total of 1941i.O-15 or U-MiG-15s were counted at the field. 1

Comment,. Puetnitz airfield is still occupied by a fighter division head--
quar emirs and two fighter regin-ents equipped with a total of about 45 } Ov-15s.
Host of the aircraft are usually parked in the hangars.
