On 19 March 195, about 14 x 85-mm to 100-mm AT guns were detrained in Gera.
Truck was identified during the unloading. The detrained unit
left for the Reuss Kaserne. 1
2. In the afternoon on 18 March, 6 tanks,
about 20 prime movers towing 20 x 100 mm AT guns, about 20 jeeps and 300 25X1
trucks towing tortars, AT guns and other guns and occupied by troops passed
through Westhausen, coming from Gotha and proceeding toward Langensalza.
During the night on 18 March, the shipment was followed by about 100 trucks,
including tank trucks, repair shop trucks, ammunition trucks and ration
supply vehicles. On 19 March, 5 trucks occupied by 50 troops wearing black.
bordered black epaulets arrived from the direction of Euffleben. The troops
constructed a telephone line which was dismantled on 20 March. At about 5 p.m.
on 20 March, 15 trucks occupied by 150 troops 25X1
wearing black-bordered black epaulets and red-bordered black epaulets with
signal insignia, went toward Euffleben, coming from Goddbach.2

On 20 March, a column of about 25 sedans was standing at the eastern exit
of Weissenfels, with numerous officers holding a conference. Subsequently,
the column proceeded toward Leipzig, i.e. the autobahn. A short time later,
a major column of sedans was observed on the autobahn before Eitterfeld.

5. On 19 March, major exercises were observed southwest of the Muehlhausen-
Langensalza road. The exercises involved 15 to 20 T-34/85 tanks, several
columns of trucks and about 10 rocket launchers. 2
